Theological school online

Wesley biblical seminary website? Online education has a baby-history compared to traditional-on campus education, but one thing is sure. It’s here to stay and will continue to grow. This is confirmed by a number of recent studies that look at online education developments every year. For example, A 2018 Mirasee world survey on online education providers reveals that online education enrolments have remained quite steady since 2016. Plus, almost half of online students achieved their learning objectives “to a great extent” and about 30% say they got their desired results “to a great extent.”

In addition to student benefits, online tutoring has effectively bolstered a sagging tutoring industry. According to a recent article by Forbes, in 2011 the U.S. government invested roughly $134 million in private tutoring programs for low-income families. These programs were created in accordance with the No Child Left Behind legislation. However, nationwide budget cuts have led to the elimination of much in-school tutoring. In their absence, private companies (many of them online tutoring services) have stepped in to meet student and parent demands.

The Certificate in Bible and Theology equips students to study Scripture and understand Christian theology. Students will graduate from the program with a deep, historic grasp of the Christian faith and the ability to go beyond the surface when interpreting the Bible. This Certificate is for anyone who wants to have a deep understanding of the Bible and Christian theology. A part-time student can complete the Certificate in 4 semesters. The entire program can be completed online, allowing you to participate in the program from anywhere in the world! All credits earned in the Certificate can be applied towards a Master of Arts or Master of Divinity degree at WBS. Find more information at Wesley biblical seminary.

In a classroom environment, or when finding a face-to-face tutor, it can be hard to find an adult with a real connection with your child. Online, there are more people to choose from, and it greatly increases your chances of finding a tutor who can resonate with your child. Not only does this create camaraderie and trust, but these shared interests can make learning more fun. “I think it’s a great idea for students who need the help and are too scared to ask face to face. This gives them the opportunity to ask without being embarrassed or nervous.” ECU student, WA

WBS offers two types of seminary classes online: forum-based and real-time. Forum-based: Through the use of Populi, our online platform, professors and students learn from lectures, share resources, engage in conversations, and submit assignments. Students have maximum flexibility in these courses to do the work and submit assignments in ways that is most convenient for them. While there are still due dates and high course expectations, students can learn in the way that best fits their schedule. Find additional information on https://wbs.edu/.
